Using my new scoring method (Details can be found here), I wanted to tackle my previous entries for the Boston Spaceships before covering the final two albums that I have yet to cover. In the same year that the Boston Spaceships release the amazing Planets Are Blasted, they also put out this solid 3rd album. Though it doesn't reach the greatness of Planets Are Blasted, I think overall it is still a better effort than their rookie effort, Brown Submarine...
It is funny how over time our tastes can change. In my previous post on this album, 12 of the album's 16 songs made the playlist, and three of the tracks that I called "Gems" (How Wrong You Are, Let It Rest For A While, and Mr. Ghost Town) didn't make it quite to that level in this reassessment. Mr. Ghost Town didn't even make it to "Almost Gems" this time around, but I do think that under this new system I am making it much harder to be considered a "Gem". Nothing here ranked "Among Bob's Best" but this is still such a worthy pickup. Here is the updated ranking:
